What is NOA?
You're busy. You can seldom find the time to read up on the day's must know happenings, yet you like to be in the know. So we've created NOA to make staying informed with the full stories behind the daily headlines extremely easy. Each story is professionally narrated so that you can simply press play and listen from early morning.

It's more timely than an audiobook, more concise than a podcast, and more convenient than reading. It's the new way to love journalism

With NOA, staying informed with the day's must-know journalism stories is extremely easy.

Listen to professionally narrated stories from some of the world's best publishers, including The Financial Times, Bloomberg, The Independent, and The Irish Times.

Over 40 stories are narrated by our team each night (word for word), so that you can begin listening from early morning the following day.

When is the best time to listen?
Anytime your eyes are occupied and your ears are free. We publish the day's top stories before 4am each morning. Common use cases include in the car and while walking, exercising, and cooking.

How can I begin listening?
Simply download the NOA app, choose a publisher, and select an article. No initial sign up required.

Can I create my own playlist?
Yes. Simply tap the '+' symbol to add an article. Your playlist is accessible from the sidebar menu.

Can I listen offline?
Yes. All articles in your playlist are automatically available offline, so you can listen anytime and anywhere.

Can I search for stories within the NOA app?
Yes. Search keywords to find stories that interest you. Search is accessible from within the sidebar menu.

Is NOA similar to a podcast app or radio?
Not quite. Journalism - whether in print, online, or over audio - tells you a story in a concise, well-argued, and informative manner. Podcasts and radio on the other hand are, by their very nature, conversational. For comparison, one 30 minute podcast equates to about 6 audio stories on NOA.
